If they’re Ford owners they’ll still be seeing me. Since many of these vehicles have some very common issues you can’t avoid. You show me an Ecoboost with 150,000 miles and its original Cam Phasers installed and my jaw will drop.
I have an ‘18 F-150 C/C with a 2.7 (2nd Generation) with about 80k. I had to replace an alternator when the original crapped out. I’ve owned a lot of vehicles in my lifetime all Fords. T-Birds, Galaxies, F-150’s, F-250’s, Big Broncos. I’ve NEVER replaced an alternator. When I was working I usually ran up over 200k on a truck before trading it in. I don’t think I’ll do that with this one now that I’m kinda retired.
I had a ‘12 F-150 with an Ecoboost that lost a braking control unit and the front brakes wouldn’t retract. Smoked the pads, calipers and rotors. That cost big. This ‘18 I’m told has problems with the 10 speed transmission. So far so good.
people intent on being informed prob dont look at the troll comments,
Anywho, unless things change, time to adapt!;
“The scattering and flattening of media has created a labyrinth where information trickles from primary sources to news media to non-journalist media including Youtubers, podcasters, TikTokers and X accounts — and eventually to conversations between family and friends.“
