I don’t think it’s off topic…people are lost, and that is what this is showing. We as the people do not know where to turn for help if are not treated as equals. Where my friends is the trust? I think Hillary got sucked into greed. It could happen to anyone…if she would find it within herself to come forward. I would not blame her for the hate she feels toward men, but to kill the whole country because Bill did what he did?

I believe you’re so right - our nation is lost, people are lost, and good, honest people who are lost often become desperate and make poor decisions. We as a people didn’t know where to turn in 2016 - where have all the cowboys gone? Such a good song. I think poor Donald, feeling lost himself, got caught up in the adoration he felt from the rally crowds. The people at those rallies…such good people but lost and in a bad place and looking for leadership from someone, anyone. It happened. If only Donald would come forward in the spirit of honesty and vulnerability and admit he’s not the leader this nation needs, but rather the embodiment of the malaise afflicting the nation that we need an actual leader to correct. Self-absorbed, vain, insecure, entitled, greedy, mendacious, rude…Donald is as lost as we all are. I do not blame him for his hatred towards women, after all they only want him for his money. But to divide a nation and hasten its decline for that?

I had a lot of faith that Donald Trump would finally drain the swamp in Washington. I went to a lot of rallies in 2016, and that was one of the major things that he would say to get applause. Donald Trump is a Washington outsider, and he nobody owns him because he’s already rich beyond comprehension.

I can’t figure out why more isn’t getting done! Hillary and Bill are still free. Sessions has been completely useless. This Mueller witch hunt is still being conducted. Now the Democrats control the House of Representatives??? Now nothing is going to get done, with the exception of more hardcore right wing judges being appointed. Hopefully Trump will get 1-2 more picks for the SCOTUS.

Things seemed like they were going to get better in early 2017. I still think Trump can turn things around in Washington, but he might need another 6 more years to really accomplish that.
