Sarah Palin was running for Vice President of the country with a presidential candidate who had a fair chance of dying in office. It’s not even remotely comparable.

Shapiro uses a debate style that creationists use called the Gish Gallop. He throws out a bunch of information and statistics, some true… some false… and then speaks emphatically about morals.
He is very good at it.
Just like any evolutionary biologist who debates a creationist has lost before they walk on the lectern, Ocasio-Cortez has absolutely zero to gain by engaging with Ben Shapiro.
They did attend a private Christian college. They didn’t receive subsidized education.
Mx. Occasional-Cortez has zero to gain from any competent talk yakker from the right. Of course, it wouldn’t mean anything anyway. The lefty news would crown her winner no matter if she couldn’t point to Brooklyn while in Brooklyn.

That socialist nitwit has the purpose to mobilize the rebels from far-left, who would have voted for Bernie 2 yrs ago but didnt for criminal of state Killary. At the same time, other candidates will distance themselves from her, targeting the “moderate” voters of the left. It looks like a skillful move of the left, although nearly the entire party support actually far-left socialist ideas, liek open borders, sanctuary cities, abolishing ICE and so on.
