What we are discussing is that the slavery of yesterday, has no bearing on capitalism today.

It’s how linear time works.

You also run the business that you invest in. You are a business owner, not a capitalist.

I would too. 
US Slavery was the best way to practice capitalism. For the same reason using Chinese labor is the choice for most corporations. It allows them to maximize profits.
