You’ve been arguing for days that we just deported him and have no control over his incarceration in CECOT. Now suddenly you admit the government knew he’d end up there.
We made a deal with El Salvador to take people we identified as gang members and put them in CECOT. Then we identified Garcia as a gang member and sent him on a plane to El Salvador with other identified gang members who were bound for CECOT. So you pretending for days that the US government did not send this man to CECOT is the gaslighting I’m talking about.

None of those on the plane were sent to CECOT. They were sent to El Salvador. We paid for the government of El Salvador to put Venezuelan gang members in CECOT. In the case of Garcia, he was a citizen of El Salvador. There was no need for the US to pay for ES to accept him or to put him in CECOT.
