The Curious Case of Kilmar Abrego Garcia

This is the man who was deported by “clerical error” despite having a judicial order protecting him.

Now Trump Inc says the judge who ordered his return by Monday has no authority to issue such an order.

Complicated case. So what is Abrego’s crime?

  • He entered the US illegally in 2011. He was 16 years old.
  • He testified he was being recruited by a gang.
  • Police claimed he was affiliated because of a Bulls cap and hoody. And the alleged claim of an informant that he was active in MS 13 in NYC. He has never lived in NYC.
  • Apparently he doesn’t have a criminal record.
  • In 2019, he applied for asylum and was denied. The judge ordered the protection against deportation then.
  • His wife and child are US citizens. His wife has two other special needs children, also US citizens apparently.

Trump Inc put him on a plane to CECOT.

So this hardened criminal, this MS 13 “leader” is an evil genius.

To hide his gang criming, this evil man spent years building an elaborate cover.

He became an apprentice sheetmetal worker, in the first year of 5 needed to become a union journeyman.

He married a woman with special needs children. (Who will now have to deal with that alone.)

The dedication! The commitment!

It all fell apart because of a cap, a hoody and the word of an informant in a city in which he never lived.

Thank goodness Trump Inc saw through the masquerade and saved us all.

Just a reminder:

  1. Police lie.
  2. Informants lie.
  3. It is not beyond people to use the judicial system to settle personal vendettas.

Anyway, congratulations to the zealots for MASA.

The judge will look pretty foolish when CECOT tells him to go pound sand.

Come down from Zealot Mountain for a minute and use your brain:

Does a gang leader marry a woman with special needs children? Why would a gang leader do that? Love?

Does a gang leader take a job as an apprentice sheetmetal worker? You have any idea how hard that job is? Why would a gang leader do that?

The reflexive denial of common sense is impressive. That cognitive dissonance is really eating away at you.

Leave the memes to the cons.

A cap and a hoody put the MS 13 kingpin in CECOT. Six years later.

He must be guilty! Trump sent him to CECOT!

OK I admit it…you have better memes.

Great move…

I’d like to hear ( if at all possible) if the Salvadorans have anything on this guy. Did he commit crimes there? If not, based on the information others here have shared, he’s a model illegal immigrant who only entered America illegally. Yes/ no?
If someone truly made a mistake scooping him up admit it and get him back. They’ll be plenty of slip and fall ambulance chasers waiting to sue Trump “to make him whole” again!

Let’s take another approach.

If Garcia were being persecuted and was looking for asylum, why not simply choose the one of several embassies? Or why not present himself for asylum at the first bordering country? Or why not present himself for asylum in the US at the border?

Why did he choose instead to come all the way to the US, cross into the country illegally and make no attempt to become legal for 8 long years. Only when he is inevitably detained does he suddenly feel the need to ask for asylum?

You believe he is squeaky clean. I beg to differ.

That is the LW narrative.

He was in the country illegally. Enough said.

Actions have consequences. How long do you think a lawyer would last in a private practice if he didn’t vigorously support the position of that practice? If he finds he has a conflict, then resignation is the alternative. Either that or risk being fired.

So it is in Bondi’s DOJ. If the lawyer was conflicted, he needed to resign or be suspended.

I was simply making a point. I’m not advocating all illegals need to go. I’m simply stating that there are consequences to being in this country illegally. The vast majority will probably be ok, if they stay out of trouble and off the radar. But that is no guarantee. Garcia’s luck ran out. But again, he alone is to blame. He chose to come here illegally.

Of course. As it was Biden’s right.
