Champion kickboxer
Obviously works out and can protect.
Can obviously provide.
Loyal to his inner circle.
Leader.
Developed philosophy on how to live life.
Not shy about his values.
Considering the range of male archetypes (real, “real,” or fictional) over the last two- to three-thousand years, as well those around right now, it’s hard to believe a grown-ass man would choose this weird little lying pornographer (who preaches against pornography) awaiting trial for rape and human trafficking in Romania: a place where he chose to live for its lax sex-crime laws and surplus of young, hot, broke women.
His ostensibly “legit” business is charging profoundly insecure men (who else is buying it?) thousands of dollars for advice on how to attract women and get rich. Sounds like a sad, cheesy grift to me, but fine: that’s their choice. I just don’t see positive masculine role-model material here—and we haven’t even gotten to the misogyny, materialism, boorishness, stereotypically feminine vanity and drama-queenishness, and countless other qualities that mark him as mid-level YouTube ■■■■■■■■.
I could probably find 5 better models of masculinity within a one-block radius of my house.
One thing some of you haven’t considered: people can like some of what these public figures espouse, but not all things. It’s a lefty habit to automatically think “Oh he likes pimps” if someone says “I do the same shoulder workout as Tate”. It’s all or nothing with the labelling.
If he does espouse positive things, isn’t it possible to find an avatar for those traits that aren’t wrapped up inside of one of the ■■■■■■■■■ people around?
He’s a lot like Trump in that weak-minded people admire him for doing ■■■■ that they’re too big ■■■■■■■ to do and get away with, despite a similar lack of ethics, scruples, discipline, or moral principles.
