For just being your nephew?
I suppose you could…but what if he was a shiftless loser or a thief or a murderer?
Would you be proud of him then?
The definition of pride is satisfaction or deep pleasure in one’s achievements.
To be proud of something one had nothing to do with is vanity, not pride.

I thought you didn’t like questions.
only endless barrages. but you’re participating
dont stop now
you going to answer?
Answer what? You’re question was to somebody else. But, OK, a barrage. Be afraid.
you can still answer!
you already replied to the post that wasnt to you. so go ahead
Not sure if I can post a video but of all people the NYT’s did a wonderful skit on cancel culture. About three minutes long no naughty words.

JayJay:
Why would you be proud of something you didn’t accomplish?
Think about it for a minute.
It’s like saying “I’m proud of my hazel-colored eyes”.
I agree. No more black pride, no more homosexual pride, no more woman pride.

I “blew” nothing although I can see how you think I might because you’re being super-specific because you think you’re being clever.
So I’ll expand.
“Skin color” is not an accomplishment…either by you or by a family member or friend.
So why would you be “proud” of it?

because you can be proud of things like “belonging”
youll of course dare not attempt to prove me wrong.
you know what’s funny is…
theres likely not to be any single human being that would be offended by my being white at least in a corporate setting
yet “be less white” is a thing
it goes to show you how out of touch tripping toolbag leftists are with reality
it’s astonishing really

I see another who believes it is alright to go after someone for saying they are proud of who they are because they have a lighter skin tome… But would go after the same poster if he asked a darker skinned person why they are proud of something they didn’t accomplish and call him racist.
