Anything that has ever arisen for any reason besides socialism --including retirement, charity, postal service and militaries – is NOT socialist nor depending on socialism for them to exist in some form.

Let’s look at that for a moment, shall we?
What presumably early industry are you talking about and before socialism as a set of economic and governing ideas were formulated in the 19th century how could they be properly socialist except that they were arbitrarily claimed by socialist after the fact?
As I said, that’s writing socialism into places where it wasn’t.
For example, in days long gone the king and the nobles often had all the means of production, or the lion’s share, for reasons entirely foreign anything in socialism … would you say they as the government were somehow socialist even though they didn’t know it?
Right now if a government ran industry that would be “Socialist” because the socialist have already ■■■■ out their turd into human thinking … just as big government and big business colluding together for their mutual benefit and security using the pretext of elimination of poverty through full employment would be fascist – all that neo-pagan Nazi BS aside of course – again, that floaty is already bobbing down history’s sewer.
But the point I was making is that before the 19th century when these were fully plopped out lots of things that socialist claim as if they wouldn’t exist but for them were in various forms already around. Socialism is to innovation of society what a third teat is on a shirtless man, doubly useless but freakishly in your face.
