I was actually thinking of western NC in the mountains. I need cooler temperatures and a forest area.
I live in NJ right now and am lucky enough to have a common forest area behind my house. I can get a ton of wood from there for a firepit. But the summers are usually too hot for my liking. Which is why I am considering the NC mountains. I am going to want some land.
My stupid little house right now is selling for over 500k. It’s totally paid off. I’m pretty sure I can find what I’m looking for in NC. The other option is PA. I don’t need a big house. Just plenty of land and low property taxes.
