So according to the article Texas is going to spend $167M for seven miles of wall. Or about $4,518.00 per foot. And they are working on another contract for another seven miles of wall. Although no dollar amount was given.
Is this really money well spent? How much of an effect is 14 miles of new wall really going to have?
Have to build it to find out.

THIS is the Dimbulbcrat end game. Anyone who believes otherwise is sleepwalking through reality.
They would bury them on federal land and charge Texas with theft.
Or sell them for scrap to be melted down and donate the money to a “charity” that would funnel a lot of it bsck to the DNC.
Or a bit of both.
Isn’t the idea to seal off known points of illegal crossing so that resources can be utilized elsewhere?
7 or 14 miles doesn’t sound like a lot considering the Texas southern border is 1,254 miles long and there is existing Trump era wall. But the illegal invasion horde needs slowed down doncha think; even a little?

Let me answer you this way.
Joe Biden, you remember him right, the guy you voted for, has implemented the single greatest public policy failure of our lifetimes at the southern border. We’ve set all kinds of bad records
Our southern border was reasonably stable pre Biden. We were building a wall that the border patrol wanted and helped design, that the taxpayers had paid for. Biden stopped it, wasting all of that money, stacking perfectly good border wall materials up somewhere in Texas to rust, wasting more taxpayer money paying off contractors to not do the work of building the wall.
Biden’s performance at the border, his administration’s lies, incompetence, and intentional policy decisions allowing 5 million illegals into the country and turning our southern border into profit center for the Mexican cartels (who apparently get the materials for the poison they are global doing America with from China), is in my opinion worthy of impeachment.
Biden walked into office and reversed every single process and policy that was working…and America is being invaded as a result. Texas is bearing the brunt of that invasion. Money well spent would have involved finishing the original wall project that we had already funded, maintaining working policies, having an administration working hand in hand with the border patrol not lying about agents “strapped” the migrants…
It’s a little late after everything Biden wasted in implementing his failed border policies to ask about money well spent.
If Texas has identified areas where a few miles of new wall would help then I’m all for it. At least Abbott has been to the border to see the problem.

When title 42 goes away in a few days…we ain’t seen nuthin yet. The invasion of our southern border is about to kick it up another couple of notches.
