Equating child support to this womanâs situation is beyond dumb.
Surely if a child is conceived out of rape or incest then by definition would be fatherless due to him being in prison for those crimes.
You couldnât be more wrong. If the men fail to pay their child support their pay checks are garnished. If they donât have a paycheck to garnish they are thrown in prison.
A man most certainly is under obligation to support his child for 18 years and it does not matter if he wanted that child or not. He has to work to pay his child support. If he doesnât his paycheck is garnished, or he is thrown in prison.

At least in California, child support is formula based on income and custody per individual.
