The wall does not solve illegal immigation problems. It can provide some short term relief in specific high populations but if you want to solve the illegal immigration problem you have to address WHY they come, not just HOW they come.
(In fact most illegal aliens entering the country these days flew into airports and most drugs come in along the coasts and through legal ports of entry - not through the middle of the desert.
