It was only the beginning of our country. The nation anthem is bad, the flag is bad, the old flag is bad… what does he actually like about America?
The Journal reports that Kaepernick told Nike it shouldn’t use that version of the flag, as he and others consider it an offensive symbol due to its connection to a time when slavery was legal.
Using that logic, George Washington was alive when slavery was illegal. Let’s tear down the Washington monument, rename the state and the Capitol, erase him from the history books!
