With all the crap going on, the notion that the market was swayed by a minor state primary is pretty far fetched.

To be fair, AM radio does a great job of convincing people the Dow reacts to a primary victory or loss.

I do think the fed helped some as well, but markets won’t react well to the possibility of socialism being imposed on a free people, enslaving & impoverishing them.

Socialism wouldn’t be “imposed” if a majority of Americans actually voted for the man.

I think the recovery is all due to recovery of panic from the coronavirus threat.

We’ll see how it goes should we start to get more cases here in the States.

Conservatives sort of do that all the time, though. Not all, of course, but a good number.

Conservatives want to outlaw abortion. No one is forcing them to have abortions, but they impose it on others and infringe on their rights. Conservatives often oppose Physician assisted suicide, marijuana legalization and gay marriage.

No one is forcing you to participate in any of that as well.

But they want the ability to limit what other people can do, what is their right to do.

Now the shoe is on the other foot and it doesn’t feel right. I get it. I don’t like Sanders at all and I agree with you on this. But the reverse is also true, Conservatives need to start living their own lives and stop butting into other people’s lives.

Socialism is always imposed because it’s sold on lies. When the people discover they’ve been screwed, the enlightened leaders always have to use force to make sure the people keep what they “voted” on.

That’s why the left is pushing so hard to take guns now, because even the stupid Democrats will rise up once they realize what they’ve done to themselves.

You started an entire thread with the premise that Trump reacted faster than Obama. You then tried to compare Trump’s declaration of a public health emergency with Obama’s National Emergency and you haven’t admitted your mistake.
