Statues - What is to be Tolerated or Repressed?

Ben McCulloch, especially, did as much as anybody to settle Texas. Pike defended Indians getting screwed over by the government.

Same. Without a bright line, we will just fight over exceptions and exclusions.

And I don’t say this lightly, for I do admire both Longstreet and Lee

Oh well. No Confederates.

Irredeemable sin?

Well, I suppose that is between them and God.

Nevertheless, no public veneration to men who fought to uphold a perfidious, cruel, and brutal regime.

Societal sin.

That covers a lot of ground.

Not really. No Confederates is quite precise.

uphold a perfidious, cruel, and brutal regime.

Well, I said what I said.

Zim got out of his car with a gun, after contacting the authorities who were on their way and asked him to remain in his car and stay out of it. Zim didn’t do that though. He disobeyed and chose to hunt Trayvon down with a gun. He was the aggressor…period. If someone hunted you down with a gun and you don’t have one, would you defend yourself? IMO that was murder pure and simple.

I agree. Zimmerman initiated the fight.

A lot of ground.

Don’t we have to take Byrds name off just about everything in West Virginia as well?

For these examples, I don’t have a problem with them.

Even Michael brown?

Even Mr Brown. Yes.

Even after it came out what transpired?

He tried to take an officers firearm. Attempting to take a firearm from anyone is going to get you shot immediately. With extreme violence.

The only reason someone tries to take a firearm from another person is to use it on said person.
