That country is so screwed up. They traded a group of ■■■■ bag racists in 1994 for another group of ■■■■ bag racists. The only difference is that the old group was white and spoke freaky Dutch and they traded them for a new group of blacks who speak that nonsense Xhosa language. Good job guys all the way around.
Mandela had a dream, an admirable dream. But boy was it unrealistic.
They wanted to jump straight into majority rule. In a regime that was built explicitly for the minority power. They should have had a transition period that lasted for at least a decade. So that the black majority, always disenfranchised and oppressed, could learn how to run the society they were going to inherit.

I’m trying to remember how many times I’ve heard a leftist claim that black people cannot possibly be racist.
In any case, as we all know, “racism” against white people has always been long accepted.
Isn’t this a non-issue, based on their skin color, since they’re just white people?

Something I noticed in a lot of these articles. (Not all, but many…) The word “black” is always capitalized. But not “white”.
Example from the first link:
“Farmers are being killed,” Trump told reporters. “They happen to be white. Whether they are white or Black makes no difference to me.

I know in my junior high and senior high we were taught that is grammatically correct.
The reasons they gave were, umm wrong, but it was lates 70s early 80s, before the woke days, before I had even heard the term “poltically correct.”
It’s wrong, but it is not a modern thing and it has been taught that way for a long time.

My point is that while it is wrong, I try not to read too much into it.
Anyone who simple accepted whatever the teacher said in school was taught to do things that way.
If the media upsets you, your expectations are too high (and you’re probably out of marijuana.)

It’s really weird. Either capitalize all forms of ethnicity and race or do none of it.

At the moment? Yes, yes they are. The refugee program has been shut down for anyone except White Afrikaners.
“Sec. 3. Realignment of the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program. (a) I hereby proclaim, pursuant to sections 212(f) and 215(a) of the INA, 8 U.S.C. 1182(f) and 1185(a), that entry into the United States of refugees under the USRAP would be detrimental to the interests of the United States. I therefore direct that entry into the United States of refugees under the USRAP be suspended — subject to the exceptions set forth in subsection (c) of this section — until a finding is made in accordance with section 4 of this order. This suspension shall take effect at 12:01 am eastern standard time on January 27, 2025.”
(c) Notwithstanding the suspension of the USRAP imposed pursuant to subsections (a) and (b) of this section, the Secretary of State and the Secretary of Homeland Security may jointly determine to admit aliens to the United States as refugees on a case-by-case basis, in their discretion, but only so long as they determine that the entry of such aliens as refugees is in the national interest and does not pose a threat to the security or welfare of the United States.
The singular exception is White Afrikaners. We’re also paying there airfare where we used to charge refugees and require them to repay us.
