Can you say lip service? She realized the venue was too good to turn down and got them to “distance” themselves from the sponsor so she could save face. What an absolute crock. Of course, her supporters will lap it up.

The event was open to all, unlike Trump’s pretend inclusive campaign event, so folks from that group tweeting is not surprising.
She realized she had an opportunity to speak to people who weren’t hand picked. She was planning to still go to Columbia and speak at an event open to all to contrast against Trump’s BS.
They made changes, taking into consideration her stance, she made changes, it was perfect decision making.
20/20 BJC was removed, perhaps initially the detailed changes might have been unclear, but the overall of the incident was perfectly clear.
Kamala made her planned non presence known.
Then she made her attendance equally known.

They still tweeted from the event. IOW, she placated her base by getting the school to “dump” the sponsor so she wouldn’t miss out on a good opportunity to kiss babies.
As a matter of interest what did Trump say about his current wife’s parents USA citizenship? Was he critical of it?
So in that post you acknowledged that changes were made by the organisers of the event.

What principle is that exactly? Trump has actually done something on CJ reform while Kamala serving as a DA badly abused the same demographics she’s now courting for the 2020 race.

Members tweeted as audience. Not as sponsors conducting the event. Her principled decision got them removed. It made a difference, she acted on the change and changed her mind.
