So when Ronald Reagan was the spokesperson for the Republican campaign against Medicare fifty years ago that was based on the claim that Medicare was establishing socialism in America, Ronald Reagan was lying?

You can’t claim that it took fifty years to establish socialism when fifty years ago it took over our country according to conservatives.

And why aren’t you pointing to Vito Marcantonio thirty years before that, if you want to find an actual socialist in Congress. Or Eugene Debs gathering a million or so votes for President a century ago.
