I am referencing the Mueller investigation. If you read the IG report, you will find that Comey leaked in hopes of getting a special council appointed.

“Allegedly”? The report stated he broke many FBI rules to leak information that was related to ongoing investigations. The report stated that he knew full well such information was not allowed to be released. The report then lectures about leaking information because of your personal political opinions.
What is allegedly in all of that?
As was recently said about another incident “read the report”.

The former head of the FBI breaks about every rule there exists in the FBI and Congress doesn’t want to know more about what has been gong on?
But then, if you are going to go after someone for obstructing an investigation, maybe it isn’t a good idea to show that that investigation was politically motivated to begin with.

Allegedly. Innocent until proven guilty. We have this thing called Due Process. Not technically illegal, otherwise known as legal. Hoax! Witch Hunt!

The IG report says that Comeys leaks were against FBI policies and rules. That would have justified firing him. However, when he started leaking, they were not classified…that came later. Therefore, the DOJ did not go after them as felonies.
There are FBI rules against leaking info related to ongoing investigations, as Comey himself testified. However, apparently there are not criminal laws against it.

Odd comment, given that Trump has given government handouts to farmers, tried to order companies where they can and can’t do business, and outright stated that his healthcare plan would cover everyone with the government picking up the tab for those who couldn’t afford it.

Course it didn’t turn out well for you guys with Mueller.

Mueller turned out fine from my perspective. I wanted him to investigate to uncover the truth. As far as I can tell, that’s just what he did.

And there are now a ton of indictments, plea deals, and convictions to show for it. And we know that Russia did attempt to interfere with our election.
