So libs, anybody can vote

Math and grammar are difficult.

Per Google search:

Arms are historically and functionally considered part of a militia, defined during the founding era as armed, trained citizens ready for defense.

Ever notice how the 2nd amendment brings out the subservient bootlicker in leftists?

Yes.absolutely.

isnt the ability to vote worth a little effort?

I think the point is, that is your right. To vote. That is your power. If something like ID is asked of a voter, it should be at no additional significant burden to the voter. And at no cost. You should not have to pay to vote, that is your right.

Any voter ID law should ensure that any fraud that is prevented outweighs the number of eligible folks who wanted to vote but could not due to the law. The problem? It isn’t possible because fraud is astoundingly low, so it will always disenfranchise more that it prevents.

The GOP is not interested in preventing voter fraud, or they would just have free Federal IDs for every voter. The cost would not be significant and it could serve as real IDs for flying or even useful IDs for other purposes, such as purchasing firearms or liquor.

It is better, in their rationale, to just complain without offering reasonable solutions. The specter of fraud serves a better purpose than a solution to an already small problem. Just make it seem bigger and gin up the base.

You clearly don’t know the answer.
And I don’t even need to pick them up.
They are delivered right to my doorstep.
I’m talking fully functioning firearms.
All perfectly legal.

and how mandatory Voter ID brings out the rightie vote surpressionist.

Allan

Well spoken and very reasonable.

Good try, but there is nothing suppressionist about validation.

Let me rephrase that:

The dems want everyone disarmed except when it suits their needs.

there is when no mechanism is available to provide free voters IDs to all people.

why should people have to spend money to exercise their right to vote.

Allan

A driver’s license serves as a privilege to operate a vehicle and an identification document; it does not confer U.S. citizenship or federal voting rights.

Easily rectified.

Why should people have to spend money to exercise any right?

“well regulated”. No mention of regulating the right to vote.

Well regulated militia…pretty clear.

Right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed…just as unambiguous.

Until a load of ballots get delayed due to weather, destroyed due to an acccident or fire, get lost in transit, there are a myriad of ways that mail in only voting is a bad idea, having the option is fine, but ONLY mail in voting has many ways it could potentially impact a federal election.
