What are the “facts”? That 1,306 people, the vast majority of whom had serious preexisting conditions, have died of this disease? That 500 more have recovered than died? That 85,000 out of 350 million have been confirmed to have it?

Ok, those are “facts”. Those “facts” didn’t shutdown 30% of the country. Fear, an emotion, did.

The fear is not based on the current situation, the “facts”. It is based on a projected situation that may or may not happen. The “fact” is you don’t know that if we kept this up for 2 years and did everything you want that it would make any difference at all. You feel like it would.

No, it was and is based on the best analysis by people who (hopefully) know what they’re doing, far better than you or I. If you want to refute it, provide better data and analysis. Labeling it “fear” is wrong and pointless.

I think we should all go back to work, except that all young people who attended Coronavirus Parties should of course stay at home. And not be paid.

A group of young adults held a coronavirus party in Kentucky to defy orders...

Apparently in China it was mostly oldsters who were hit.

Because for me personally I HATE working from home, having to schedule meetings for what should only take a short walk and a quick conversation. Missing that personal interaction with others, I freaking hate it.
