Seriously these latest Biden approval numbers

Full disclosure I have thought Biden would be a one term president even before he was elected because of the deep division in the country but I thought his approval through his presidency would hover around the 46%-47% area then he would likely lose in 2024 in the battleground states by a razor thin margin.

I am not usually the one that posts polls or pays much attention to them but damn these latest numbers I am seeing I have never seen a democrat president receive in my life time, just individual members of congress. And this is the third big respected poll that has him under 40% in three weeks.

And it’s not even just the latest numbers from the USA TODAY/Suffolk University Poll which has Biden at 37.8% approval it’s the other things in the poll as well.

For instance I knew Harris was unpopular but dear lord her approval is now a dismal 28% and when you dig into the latest USA TODAY/Suffolk University Poll it just gets worse.

Nearly half of those surveyed, 46%, say Biden has done a worse job as president than they expected, including 16% of those who voted for him. Independents, by 7–1 (44%-6%), say he’s done worse, not better, than they expected.

If the election were today, those surveyed say, they would vote for their Republican congressional candidate over the Democratic one by 46%-38%.

And the trajectory of his polling seems to suggest it’s not transitory like he says inflation is, at this point is it even possible he won’t be replaced or primaried in 2024? I don’t see how they could run him even against Trump if that’s the nominee for the GOP.

Every other sentence he is forgetting something, misspeaking, or the latest falling asleep at the climate meeting. Even with the infrastructure bill passing it’s hard to see how it’s going to be good news with the opposition to the injection mandates already forming in mass across the country, there is already a labor shortage common sense says this will make it worse.

How is three more years of this going to go. If he was a young energetic Obama full of charisma and a good speaker I could see a turn around, but this is Biden not Obama they are not comparable. Not to call names but seriously the phrase sleepy Joe sounds so appropriate atm, I have never speculated on his mental fortitude but the guy just doesn’t seem to be there and if it’s bad now I would imagine it’s just going to get worse over the next three years. How does he not get replaced in 2024 even by his own party.

Sounds to me like a lot of uninformed voters were punked by the basement campaign. Biden/Harris are as â– â– â– â– â– â–  up as a couple of soup sandwiches. Now the â– â– â– â– â– â– â–  idiot wants to shut down another oil pipeline, â– â– â– â– â– â– â–  moron.

I am use to seeing Republicans in my lifetime polling low Bush Jr as well as Trump who started off low anyways Biden is the first democrat I have ever seen below 40. Then one looks at Harris’s poll and Biden don’t look so bad

I was a Democrat before I was and independent. The woke â– â– â– â–  , socialism, and anti-police ruined a once good party. I really do not give a damn about Bush or Republicans

Democrat party is the Lauden school board on a national scale.

Rasmussen shows 43% approval and 55% disapproval. I don’t recall Trump ever being that low.

Trump dipped below 40 a couple times briefly.

His average was around 44.

Now that was with full media push against and a now proven Russia Hoax and better Pandemic response than Biden.

Once again…Trump was right.

Also…I am referencing the RCP average.

Rasmussen Trump average was always higher around 47 percent.

for polls to be so low for a democrat is really something

i’m sure they think it’s because of right wing media

Trump started out low from the beginning, he was in the mid to low 40’s he never got above 50 that I have seen and the worst polls were close to were Biden is now and those real bad polls for Trump came at the height of when covid was wrecking the economy.

The historical drop with Biden should alarm democrats he started out in the mid 50’s then started trending lower at a slow pace. It has been in free fall since the Afghanistan debacle - Gallup, Quinnipiac and now USA today all show him well below 40% and still dropping and they don’t know were the floor is considering Harris’s approval rating.

I think he will be pressured to step down if not it’s hard to see a scenario he isn’t primaried and very likely losing. The word is the challenge could come from Buttigieg and Harris as the VP although at 28% approval for Harris not sure the logic in that pick.

People are freaking out about inflation, rising food, housing, and gas prices even though it’s not getting the media attention it deserves. There is no worse tax than inflation wages can’t keep up. He is heading down the path of Jimmy Carter. The democrats have made climate the change the number one priority. Unfortunately for them the American people don’t rank it high in priority just the democratic party.

The overall biggest issue to voters was Economy, covid, inflation, and jobs. Climate change came in at 4% as top issues to all voters but was the highest issue among democrats.

Exactly my point I remember Bush jr hitting in the 30’s during the start of the great recession. I also remember Trump in the 30’s during covid and all the jobs that were lost. As I said in my lifetime I have never seen a democrat poll this bad.

And this poll was before Virginia.
sddsds

It’s difficult to see a situation he isn’t pressured to leave the poll numbers and then he will be 81-82 years of ager by 2024.

Since you introduced Trump** into the thread.

Comparing the same date (Nov 8th) in both administrations based on an average of polls.

Biden approval = 42.7
Biden disapproval = 51.3
Biden delta between the two = 8.6

Trump** approval = 38.2
Trump** disapproval = 56.8
Trump** delta between the two = 18.6

Bless your(c) hearts for highlighting Biden’s disapproval numbers when they are actually better than Trumps**.

That was when the Russia Collusion lie was at its peak. Greasing the skids for the 2018 midterm cycle.

Yeah…thanks for the reminder.

Energy independent under Trump…Never forget.

Sounds like a little guessing and a little unrealistic fishing to me. Nice try.

Hey let’s live in the here and now. Bush was like 20 - 30 years ago.

J’Biden and his inept band of incompetents are the equivalent of a clueless captain of a ship that has navigated itself onto the rocks, the wreckage is all around, sinking and he is ordering the crew to man the pumps.
