That’s literally every night. This school district sees value in planning events geared towards families of color. If white families want to attend then all the better.

This makes it sound like whites get to use the playground every night and blacks can only use it when they are invited. This isn’t the 50s or 60s!

So a municipal governmental body (public school district) in the United States can promote and conduct a officially sanctioned activity, where the right to participate in the activity is determined by the race/ethnicity of individual students. Sometimes you can’t just make this up. I hope parents bring a case under the Civil Rights Act against this school and the specific employees who came up with this.
