The data currently available to you doesnât mean squat.
Not if they are honest.
They do their best but diagnoses are missed regularly and treatments frequently fail, complications occur, negative drug interactions, mild to severe reactions to drugs etc.
Itâs the best they have and they will make recommendations accordingly. When they known facts change the recommendations change.
Thatâs why itâs âbest guessâ.
Says the person who is looking at what countries are doing rather than what they are saying. That is more telling than anything.

Thanks for posting the link. Here is an excerpt that shows a disturbing lack of concern about the risks associated with research related to coronaviruses similar to COVID-19:
By 2015, conducting research that was met with an enormous amount of concern, scientists at UNC had successfully created a âchimeric, SARS-like virusâ by altering the viral genome of a Chinese bat coronavirusâs spike-protein genes â sequences that code for the spikes that poke out from surface of viruses and allow them to unlock entry into hosts, in this case making the bio-engineered coronavirus incredibly contagious. . . a virologist with the Louis Pasteur Institute of Paris warned: âIf the [new] virus escaped, nobody could predict the trajectory.â
But then oddly, in late January right as the pandemic was blooming, Dr. Ralph Baric claimed in an interview that people should be more concerned with the seasonal flu â despite having personally overseen the controversial engineering of a hyper-virulent strain of batty coronavirus just a few years back. My observation is that US media seem to have been extremely reluctant to report anything beyond press releases from the Chinese government and platitudes downplaying the risks associated with the new coronavirus.
Pretty simple. Donât listen to what they say, watch what they do.
Alot of that quite frankly is because of economic considerations and trying to keep people from panicking unnecessarily which creates tremendous strain on resources, civil authorities, and can throw markets into chaos.
In this case itâs simply because China is protecting their own interests over those of the rest of the world by putting out bad information and intentionally delaying good information releases.

Well antibiotics generally have no effect on viruses so thatâs a different problem.
Secondary infections as a result of viral infections can be treated with antibiotics.
Thatâs of course true but Iâm not seeing anything showing itâs secondary infections killing the CV victims or that they are even a factor at this point.
Iâm not paying attention to what other countries are saying or doingâŚwhere did ya get that.
Quite frankly, that isnât the point.

Yes, an overriding concern of governments is to prevent panic. That is not unique to China.
The Japanese government did its best to downplay Fukushima.
The US government claimed that the massive cloud of dust from the Twin Towers was not dangerous.
The Soviet government hid large number of deaths from weaponized anthrax that was accidentally released into the city of Sverdlovsk.
The Chinese government has demonstrated a disturbing pattern of censorshiop and selective release of information. We need to be skeptical of the official statements.
