There’s not really anything to debate. Trump’s lawyer plead guilty to breaking campaign finance laws on the orders of Donald Trump and the judge accepted that guilty plea.

There was a lot to debate and that debate took place. There is no factual evidence that “Trump was engaged in a criminal conspiracy with his longtime fixer to illegally affect the outcome of the election in his favor” as stated by Nebraska. He was simply reciting a Trump-hating talking point. I called him on it.

It’s surprising that someone can win the popular vote by 2 million votes and still lose the election. Anyone should have been surprised by that because it’s statistically pretty unlikely. I was riding the Silver train before the election who was giving Trump a 25-30% chance to win, so I was less surprised than many on the left.

Of course it is true. Federal Prosecutors drafted a statement that was read by his co-conspirator in a court of law while pleading guilty to the criminal activity. A judge accepted these charges and claims as drafted by Federal Prosecutors as being factual and criminal. Trump is now officially an unindicted co-conspirator to a criminal conspiracy designed to illegally affect the outcome of the election in his favor. There is no spinning this reality.

I don’t think Trump supporters will ever understand the ramifications of what happened during the campaign, but it’s important for the history books that we don’t just brush this aside as some minor campaign finance violation. Like you said, it was a criminal conspiracy to defraud the American electorate.

Exactly. And there very well may be an indictment awaiting Trump the day he leaves office. Regardless of what form that departure may take. I’ve said before, once Federal Prosecutors laid bare that Trump was a co-conspirator, that his best bet now is likely to negotiate a deal with Prosecutors. Offer to resign, to avoid full charges being levied against him. I doubt he will though.

Putnam who he beat in the primaries has taken over nine million dollars directly and indirectly from sugar lobbyists in his career. It is the sugar growers causing the Lake O water to be diverted down the rivers and it is causing an environmental catastrophe, by any standards. It’s bad.

I’m surprised Gillum is doing so well, but a lot of notherners have moved down here in the last few years and EVERYBODY is angry about the water situation. Tourism is slowing way down, home sales are slowing, sport fishing is taking a big hit. This time last year it was the fishing capital of the world. Not so much at the moment.

Nope. Here in the real world when someone is charged with a crime and they agree that they committed the crime, then their statements before the court are required to be both accurate and substantiated by Prosecutors charging them with said crime. The statement read by Cohen in court, to the Judge, admitting to these crimes, was written by Prosecutors. Who then also confirmed to the Judge that they have evidence fully supporting and corroborating these crimes. This is all pretty basic criminal justice stuff man.
I know in the delusions of the Trump cult, a person can just admit to anything in court, and a judge will just blindly accept anything they admit to, without any corroborating evidence or support. Even things that are not actual crimes. (Which is a hilarious joke in-and-of-itself) But that is only believed because of a detachment from reality.
Trump is, by legal definition, an unidicted co-conspirator. Period.
