No! Not at all. They were elected by parents (and the rest of the city). The parents (and the rest of the city) didn’t like what they had done and so they were recalled in a recall election. That’s representative democracy at work. There’s nothing socialist or revolutionary about that. If they were like Fidel and Che they would have seized power and ignored the will of the people.
Which conservatives are against those who want higher education getting a higher education? I think conservatives probably value skills based education such as trades as an option for youths more than progressives do. But that is balanced rather than extreme crazy.

What are you talking about? I did address what you wrote. They had the consent of the parents via being elected and they lost it when they were recalled. That’s how representative government works. That’s not an absurd opinion… its a fact.

I am an SF parent. They are not socialist revolutionaries. They aren’t any type of revolutionary. They are just progressives lousy at their elected job with priorities that weren’t aligned with the people of SF. Get it?

It’s always a good idea for wacky people to get recalled.
I’ve often thought about forming my own pressure group, primarily aimed at wackos who think defunding the police is a good idea. I’d strike mostly during primary season, making sure such wackos don’t get to November so easily.
Much easier to get the party to select a better candidate, than to have to defeat the wackos with an opposition party come election day.
But this is why anyone in the middle is gonna lose…because they continue to operate under standard norms and expectations.
Not enough realize yet that the extremes do not operate according to these rules…especially on the right, that has mainstreamed this kind of stuff.
I don’t know when people are going to wake up and start taking today’s right at their word as to what they are going to do.
Because they have stated repeatedly what they are going to do, and wherever they are gaining power, they are doing it.

From where I stand, the school board members who were kicked off the school board advocated ideas very much in line with Revolutionaries whose views are alien to our nation’s founding principles and dangerous to a freedom loving people.
