AGAIN, He made it clear that he was a TEXAS racist - a form of racist. Why even BOTHER to mention that he was from Texas - EXCEPT to imply that this made it clear why he was a racist?
He was from Texas. He was a racist. What Simply Trying said is factually correct. LBJ could not be an Oklahoma racist. Nor a Louisiana racist. Or a New Mexico racist. So saying he was a Texas racist is absolutely 100% true and 100% correct.
Not that it is unique but that it is understandable from the liberal perspective, as he is from Texas, so of course he is a racist.
If I say “he is a black moron” is that the SAME as saying “that moron is a black person”? It could be factual either way but the implications are greatly different and you know it. One points out that person. The other tars the entire race. Simply Trying tarred the entire state.
We get it. We have heard it before. Don’t TRY to tell us about prejudice against us. We have heard it before.
Who doesn’t know that LBJ was from Texas? Why even BOTHER to mention that he was from Texas - EXCEPT to imply that this made it clear why he was a racist?
You didn’t go back to the part where I said that it didn’t matter as far as Barr’s comment, because Barr knew that she was supposed to be black, did you? You just took this one statement and read it out of context to make your straw man, didn’t you?
Answer: Yes.
God, you people are dishonest.
This is the part you left out to make it look like I was justifying what Barr wrote.
Shame on you. And yes, Lucy decided I meant that only one grand parent was African American but I never said that and that was irrelevant to my point that if Barr believed her to be African American, that was all that was needed to make her statement wrong.
“I wan’t familiar with her when I first read about Barr’s quote, so I looked her up. Judging from all the pictures of her, I concluded that she wasn’t black so it made no sense at all what Barr said. Then I read an article that referenced some African American grandparent.
But that doesn’t let Barr’s statement off, because she knew that she is supposed to be an African American, though you wouldn’t guess it from the images.”
