'Rona Relief Bill 2

Unfortunately when people get a handful of free money they tend not to think too far ahead.

It is now when the fed’s are kicking in an extra 600.00/wk to the state UE funds.

With the added 600.00 federal payment on top of the state payment, yes thats how it works right now.

which still wouldn’t make their income 2,000 a month more then base pay.

You’re wrong

Yes it does depending on your base pay.

If you were only making 350.00/wk it certainly would.

Update: the GOP stimulus bill takes Trump’s border wall money and gives it back to the Pentagon where he took it from. El oh el.

Trump wants the FBI headquarters moves because it’s close to his hotel and is an architectural monstrosity.

You know like how he, exercising the legitimate powers of the presidency in a lawful way, asked his ambassador to the Court of St. James to pressure the British government to move the British Open to one of his properties.

Jimmy Carter put his peanut farm in a blind trust.

That’s not gonna matter so much. McConnell will twist arms until they break to vote for whatever he wants and he’s the second most feared politician in DC.

And obviously the right time to bring it up is on the bill that will decide the livelihood and housing of millions of the hardest hit Americans. Makes perfect sense.

Also this is an excellent chance for my new favorite protest chant, “Mitch better have my money,” to go viral and become a hashtag.

Depressing read.

The Urban Institute estimated that provision covered nearly 30% of the country’s rental units.

The proceedings have resumed in more than 30 states. The moratorium in Hawaii and Illinois end this week, and in August, evictions will pick up in New York and Nevada.

By one estimate, some 40 million Americans could be evicted during the public health crisis.

I hope those numbers are only worst case scenario estimations. If not, I fear for this country.

Shay’s rebellion occured over much less.

Come on someone has to get this reference.

It’s not even doable. I can’t figure out what the strategy is supposed to be here. They have to know Pelosi isn’t gonna let them kick the can down the road with a temporary extension.
