'Rona Relief Bill 2

Did he last time?

And yet they are not.

It’s Sunday.

So? They are not paid hourly and have had month to deal with it

The dems are in church.

Talk to your governor.

My guy already on it and will be expended till October. Plus landlord can’t asses late fees and other like charges

So what’s the problem?

I’m not thinking about me, nor will it affect me. Actually if I was a heartless bastard I would be cheering for evictions because I could swoop in and buy houses for dirt cheap.

So there is no problem.

If you say so. Your homeless evicted waitress you like so much though might differ

She’s welcome to the spare bedroom.

If you say so

Yup. That’s what the gov here did back in March or April. Moratorium on foreclosures. or eviction of renters until 90 days. after our State of Emergency is lifted.

People are still responsible to payback mortgage holders. and landlords but not until then.

Of course I do. I’m a giver, it’s who I am.

That is my point. If I am an employer, and I give my employees an ultimatum, return to work, or lose your benefits, and they return, then catch the virus…

I know it’s difficult to prove where a person contracted the virus. However, if they or a family member conspicuously gets sick, and or dies shortly after the employee returned to work. There are more than a few judges or juries who would love to blame the mean old employer for forcing the employee back to work. Especially if the employer has deep pockets.

I was agreeing with you.

Legislation is being passed that would immunize employers from COVID-19 lawsuits, unless it can be shown the employer acted in a reckless manner. I agree with such legislation.

That should help.

Federally? We’re still waiting on the proposal for the possible bill for the hypothetical reconciliation with the Heroes Act. “Being passed” is awfully strong.

Update: apparently the new Senate proposal-not bill-will have two hundred a week extra until they can work out their seventy percent scheme that would take six months to actually implement.

But of course we’re only an hour or two away from end of business for the Senate today and they haven’t presented ■■■■■
