Romney dissed by CPAC

I was unaware Romney worked for Trump, Romney is a Republican I was unaware Trump was named King of Republicans.

Are we all invited?

Was Sen. Collins also not invited? After all, she voted YES for witnesses.

I hope his constituents diss him the same way…right out of office.

There is still such a thing as loyalty. If you belong to a party, you should be loyal to that party especially to the people of that party that elected you to represent them and not your own special interests, which in Romney’s case, is punishing Trump. Who likes a turncoat?

In this case I am surprised for the reasons you state. Romney has been a good policy and philosophical vote.

In this case with such an overt partisan and grotesquely biased process against the President I have to take exception to the Romney vote for witnesses.

The discovery phase belongs to the Senate period. The House was attempting to transfer the responsibility to the Senate so they could clean their hands.

Everything was hearsay…Literally everything.

Bolton timing was so suspicious as top be comical…

This would never end…will never end.

I would think Romney would remember the treatment he got in 2012 race and see much of the same pattern of leak and inference with these allegations.

I am only to conclude that Romney will remain bitter for his entire career that Trump was able to do what he could not OR Romney isn’t as deep of a thinker as we think he is.

I can give her a pass. I hear Stephen King has gone political lunatic in her back yard.

I understood the people Senator Collins represents are mostly Liberals.

which letter in CPAC stands for Republican?

even if the leader does something against you values?

There’s no S or L, so it couldn’t stand for Socialism or Liberalism. If Republicans aren’t Conservative, CPAC is a fraud.

BTW: Romney is not invited to “attend.” This thread is not about speaking at CPAC.

Aside: President Trump is pro life. That was him speaking at the pro life march. I know you’d like to believe otherwise.

What about Congressman Van Drew of New Jersey???

Switching parties? What’s disloyal about that?

What do you suggest? Screaming at the moon?

Most people vote party. IMO, an elected official switching parties is morraly wrong.

Senator Romney has a 100% rating from National Right to Life. Link

Mmmmmm after getting elected?

Where is the rule on that?

It’s ok by me for anybody but Romney.

I’ve heard Sean Hannity say a million times he’s a conservative not a republican. I’ve heard countless posters here tell me conservatism is not republicansm.

Trump is definitely not pro life. He has declared himself pro choice many times.
