Care to post some quotes in which Waters or the SPLC told people to “hit” Trump supporters? Or are you just making that up? You used “hitting” in quotations, so it seems it should be out there for you to easily prove.
The problem is that much of the core message espoused by folks in the Alt-Right is inherently violent in nature. White nationalism has an end goal. How is that goal reached in a sane, peaceful way? It simply isn’t. Nor is it reasonable to expect people to just sit by in silence while those kinds of groups grow and fester in our society like a cancer.

- Waters is a real Congresswoman and this is just a state representative
- Waters actually expressed threats and this person was just silent and is now being attacked for statements made by other people.

Violence or any form of incitement of violence doesn’t belong in our political discourse. Whether it comes from some state rep like the OP, a US rep like waters, or the “punch a nazi” types who like to feign outrage over it.

Just an honest question. What is the end goal for the Nazi/white nationalist groups and what do you believe is the proper way to respond to that?
What is the appropriate responce to those who use violence under the guise of “punching nazi’s”? Honestly think about that and you’ll see where this is heading.
ignore them stop giving them free press.
everytime you punch a white nationalist your proving their point.
When people want you dead or removed from society it is kind of hard to simply ignore them and hope for the best.

Unequivocal condemnation, coupled with boycotts of their platforms and funding sources.
My hope is that Nazi/white supremacist groups die out, negating what some might feel as a need to fight back against them.
attacking them solves nothing your only proving their point that their views are correct and they need to become more militant.
they need to be condemn by everyone period.
the issue is Republican are not condemning them allowing them to find recognition.
And there is the inevitable ‘why can’t you just let the Nazis be’
The issue is white nationalist are smart they don’t just come out and say “we want America to be for white people” they say we support free speech, Southern history, etc.
and that tricks people into supporting them.
