Question to all Bernie's supporters

Seems to me that your post is unnecessarily paranoid.

Yes, it is too funny.

I’m willing to vote for the gum I just found on my flip flop over that lying hypocritical porn star schlupping baby “Christian” you wanted.

Good for you, So you can’t complain if I vote for aardvark over a lib.

That doesn’t make any sense.

Everyone knows aardvarks lean left.

Aardvarks aren’t eligible for office, so the ballot would be thrown out. But feel free to do so.

All rights UNLESS you used a right to commit the crime that landed you in jail. So if you murdered someone with a gun, you can’t buy guns. If you were Bernie Maddoff and ripped people off, you can’t be a securities sales person, if you mowed someone down with a car drunk driving, you can’t drive again…

Question for you - do you see where bernie is coming from? How given the disproportionate number of people of color in prison, denying people the right to vote after they pay their debt to society is a way to keep minorities from voting?

Hilarious post given your support for trump.

An aardvark is approximately 300% more
capable than who you last voted for; baby steps.

I think it’s to some how paint libs as hypocrites for not wanting felons to buy guns, but wanting them to vote.

If you want to make this about race, start your own thread. I’m not playing the race game with libs.

So, why do you think bernie feels so strongly about this issue?

You answered my question, you want goverment to decide what rights you’re allowed once you pay your debt to society.

Do you think sex offenders should have all of their rights restored, or should they have to continue to be on a list and be monitored, regulated where they can live, etc.? That is a tough question for me. I can understand the thought process of both sides…

The major issue here is that each state has control of their prisons. As POTUS that person could only have leverage over federal prisons. Each state has given certain rights over time. But not all equally. For example both Maine and Vermont allow all prisoners to vote. And there are some like Iowa where a felon can never vote, ever after serving their time.

Well I believe we need consistency. Once a person pays his debt whether its incarceration and monitory debt your rights should be restored. We shouldn’t be picking what rights are allowed and what isn’t. That’s not the role of goverment IMO.

Why didn’t you just say that in the OP?

You’re so cool.

Either all rights restored at the end of the sentence, or no rights restored and you stay in prison. You’re either a citizen or an inmate, if you can’t be trusted with rights you should stay an inmate.
