It’s all good people. The stable calm president is making things worse by claiming we’re really in the process of a coup. And you’ll lose your religion. And your guns. And the military. And all of your freedoms. But keep calm:
Just like you can’t commit treason if the country is not at war, you can’t commit a coup unless you do something illegal. If there are 218 House members willing to vote for Articles of Impeachment and 67 Senators willing to convict you can remove a sitting President for anything those 285 people want to and it would be legal.
Wow…the drip, drip, drips are starting to overflow the bucket that now…years later…the floodgates are starting to open. Chik-a-boom. chik-a-boom…dontcha just love it?
Idiotic tweets. However, did anyone think he would go quietly if he were to be impeached and convicted? Seems obvious to me that he would attempt to burn the country down around our ears on his way out. A sane person might wonder, if that is worth potentially removing him from office a few months early. And more importantly, Republican Senators should be aware that if they do take that step, Trump will be sure to do everything in his power to destroy their party and would likely succeed. This isn’t 1972, you don’t have a small and tight monopoly on the tv any more. Like him or not, you should probably keep in mind the man does have millions of devoted followers who aren’t going to bow to your assessment that he needs to be removed and have their votes negated.
