They are just trying to prevent crime. So just don’t be a criminal.

Sec. 4. Using National Security Assets for Law and Order. (a) Within 90 days of the date of this order, the Attorney General and the Secretary of Defense, in consultation with the Secretary of Homeland Security and the heads of agencies as appropriate, shall increase the provision of excess military and national security assets in local jurisdictions to assist State and local law enforcement.
(b) Within 90 days of the date of this order, the Secretary of Defense, in coordination with the Attorney General, shall determine how military and national security assets, training, non-lethal capabilities, and personnel can most effectively be utilized to prevent crime.

UNLEASHING

Great.

Acquitted of beating a man to death.

According to a press release from state Rep. Aftyn Behn, a Nashville Democrat, “Witnesses reported multiple drivers pulled over and detained, including mothers driving to work, allegedly leaving children in vehicles by themselves. Videos, photos, and firsthand accounts point to ICE working in tandem with the Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) to carry out what can only be described as a dragnet.”

A Tennessee Lookout photojournalist on Sunday documented buses leaving a U.S. Department of Homeland Security facility in Nashville. Family members of the alleged detainees were also present, protesting the alleged detentions.

Pulling over cars for no reason and dragging people off to jail.

Are we great yet?

When habeas corpus is suspended soon we’ll be even greater!

This right here is why…sickening IMO.

No. We are in a situation where millions of illegal migrants were brought in by Biden while the courts were silent other than to tell the states like Texas, that were most affected, to mind their own business. They were flooded in mass but have to have millions of hearings before removing them, which essentially makes Biden’s actions a fait accompli.
And half the country is frantic to keep them here to get Trump or something.
We are not great yet.

You know what, you’re right. Suspend the Constitution and the SCOTUS, declare martial law and start shooting them.

I bet the 82nd is available.

There are at most a couple thousand gang members among them, but that’s reason enough.

Let’s stop messing around and get busy!

Ok, for those on here that don’t like/trust/whatever cops, what do YOU suggest to be done to enforce the laws?

Who investigates crimes?
Who issues warrants?
Who arrests suspects?
ETC…

Back in the 70’s there used to be bumper stickers out there that said “If you hate the police the next time you are in trouble call a Hippy.”

Mostly police. Granted most countries (like the UK) run a dual police system. They have both armed police and unarmed police and they have different responsibilities based on the situation.

The US is fairly unique in the fact that we only run armed locally controlled police forces. Most Latin countries also run exclusively armed police forces but in many cases they are nationally controlled rather than locally controlled. There’s benefits and problems with both systems.

Arrogance is useless . Gaining knowledge from neighbors is how the human race advances. Why woud we not embrace a process with proven results?

If I was in trouble, the last one I would call is the cops.

Are the stadards to become a police officer, and the training of police officers pretty much the same in the USA vs other 1st worls countries?

What trouble?
