here’s the deal. they passed a law that will get overturned by the SC. there have been plenty of things that the SC had to fix (major ones like blacks being people, women voting, etc). those people had to wait DECADES for it to get fixed. in this case, people will probably have to wait some time before it gets fixed. and then it will get fixed.
The 19th Amendment gave women the vote, not the courts. the 14th made blacks full citizens, not the courts, and the 15th Amendment gave blacks the right to vote, not the courts.
