Now I’ve seen where CNN said they have three times more evidence on Manafort next trial. So they are planing on going after him again.
I’m not sure if the best reply here is “good people on both sides” or “covfefe” ???

But even you have to admit that Manafort is the embodiment of the swamp that you and other Trump supporters constantly refer back to.
Manafort is not some moral upstanding character who you really want anywhere public service or having any sort of financial control.

what would you like to bet that the threats came from the left? it seems fairly obvious that the judges consistent moves to get the prosecution to stop trying to convict manafort of being rich and piling on minutia which had no evidentary value angered some idiot leftist for whom being rich is a crime in itself.
I’d venture a guess that there are lunatics on both sides of the aisle, being egged on by their respective sides. There is plenty of evidence of outright hostility coming from the POTUS himself towards the Mueller Team, who happens to be prosecuting this case in front of this judge. And while the judge has certainly been difficult towards Prosecutors, he has made actual rulings in their favor almost unanimously.
he has applied the law as it exists. he’s been tough on the prosecution. i see no reason for any lunatic from the right to be displeased with him.
Why didn’t he direct a verdict and throw out the charges?
