The US allowing the security council to pass a Gaza ceasefire resolution would be a good first step.
Trump was able to open a back channel to Iran and diffuse the crisis after the after the assassination of General Soleimani. Theoretically the Biden White House could do the same now, but the neocon warriors in the State Department have no idea how to do real diplomacy and Biden is in no condition to bypass them.
The current path is towards a major war with Iran, which would be a disaster for the US.

For many years I worked on equipment used by various government agencies to do R&D and produce military weapons. And one thing I learned is that the majority of folks and many of those in the military have no clue as to our level of expertise and levels of readiness and supply’s that we have.

Nice to see someone who actually knows how targeting works. Thy will know where the missiles were fired from within about a minute, tracking the launchers will not be difficult at all.
