Maryland was gerrymandered for political purposes (constitutional BTW) in 2010. @Mountain_Soldier has brought that up many times
Now with its becoming epidemic with North Carolina, Illinois, Texas, Maryland, New York etc.

When SCOTUS rules, it’s over.
