I do know that if you want to derail a supreme court nomination with 30 year old alligations you need to be willing to say what happened under oath even if that is behind closed doors (which has been offered). If you are not willing to testify under oath and be subject to cross examination I’m very much less likely to believe your story.

It is also Rs right to go ahead with the vote, since there is nothing to go on except her claim. She doesn’t even know exactly where or when it took place.

And if you think it’s unfair or that Rs are “rushing” things, perhaps you should blame your own Senator for sitting on this for two months. How is that acting in good faith?

Dems should just be honest and admit they don’t care they are destroying the reputation of a man with absolutely no evidence, and that they hid the claim for two months, waiting to drop it as the clock reached 5 minutes to midnight, all so they could stall or kill the nomination in the hopes of flipping the Senate in November.
Already some Dems are on record saying he’s guilty. No due process if you have the wrong letter after your name.
Because that’s the truth isnt it?

Your a man trying to tell me how this woman is a saint and anything she says is to be believed. I’ll tell you woman lie all the time to get what they want.
And you have no idea if she is telling the truth or not. If it is so important to her to tell her story and she is so brave for coming out with her story. And it was such a life changing event for her. It’s time for her to cowboy up and get this show on the road. What is she afraid of. She’s waited 30 years to tell this story.
Maybe it’s because those of us who have been assaulted know that she is spinning a tale. I don’t need the FBI to tell me if I am right or not. I remember where I was, what I wore, who was there, what time it was, what day it was, how I got there and how I got home.

Yes and because there’s so many unhinged people out there she thinks it’s a good idea to have the FBI corroborate her story before she goes in front of the Senate and the crazy gets dialed up to 11.

Doesn’t explain why it wasn’t reported then. Sorry. Her excuse was (I’ve linked to the article before not looking it up again) she was afraid of her parents finding out she was drinking. Wasn’t confident in the parents going after the boys who allegedly did this but afraid they would find out she was out drinking.
