Some leftist deepstate operative could snatch some clothing with DNA of Kavanaugh and suddenly she remembers the dress she was wearing and the DNA could be transferred to the dress. Leftists will do anything.
Obviously this is a dead end event. It’s that it’s a very flimsy accusation and can’t go anywhere. It’s a smear job on Kavanaugh. We already know the leftists have no conscience and lie for money. It’s a lie to us and a new house for her.
Out of curiosity, what exactly would the FBI investigate?
35 or 36 years ago in some town in Maryland, there was a party at some house with maybe 4 kids who were drinking. At some point the accuser was alone upstairs with two teenagers who have already stated they weren’t at any party resembling the one she is describing. Thus there are no other witnesses.
So where do the FBI agents begin? What town? What house? Who do they talk to? After 35 years how many of the students would still be in the area? How many would even be alive? What do they ask? Do you remember any party that Kavanaugh at and the accuser attended together? Who do they ask?
Seriously, is this the kind of circus you really believe the FBI should be involved in? There are only 3 people who could possibly shed any light on this and two of them have been invited by the Senate Judiciary committee to testify before them under oath? Why would they need the FBI?
And once again, this is a local jurisdiction where the statute of limitations has long since expired. The FBI has no jurisdiction in this case. None what-so-ever. The Anita Hill case was a federal sexual harassment accusation. The FBI had jurisdiction.
There is no parallel and it is absurd to believe the FBI would waste their time on this for a political stunt by the DEMs with the sole purpose of derailing Kavanaugh’s nomination.
What I find to be ironic is that you keep calling yourself a conservative, but with this lunacy you are taking a page right out of the LIB’s playbook.

Eehhhh … even if true, there was no crime. People being playful will cover the other’s mouth. The high school girls that jumped on me in bed stopped me from making noise too. ( their family were in adjacent rooms) Maybe she has some social ineptness illness where she cant distinguish fun from danger.
The only crime she can testify to is her own underage drinking.

All I’m saying super Con…is that if we want a vote…it might be best to do a quick investigation. Take statements and move on. I want Kavanaugh to get approved. I don’t think it happens if she doesn’t show up Monday. And if she doesn’t they will probably vote anyway…but there’s always going to be huge negativity from libruls. I’d rather see an investigation of her statements, his statements…let FBI say nothing here. And it goes away. That’s all this librul minded conservative is saying…im on your side. I’m just wanting to get there a little more securely by being secure in knowing BK is in the clear.
Strange. It sounded to me like Grassley was fed up with the BS and if she’s a no show Monday, they’d proceed with the vote since he already stated an FBI investigation is unwarranted and wouldn’t change anything at this point. We’ll see?

In such a hyper-partisan climate it is more than reasonable to believe that someone would do this to the party they oppose. Outside of religion there is likely nothing people get more passionate about than politics.
Testifying (telling her side of the story) is being shamed? How exactly do they intend to “shame” her?

There are a ton of reasons why children, especially in the 80’s, didn’t report sexual assaults. Not least of which because of the stigma and shame. A feeling they deserved it. I couldn’t say her exact reasoning from back then when she was 15.
Sure. But the context of her other actions belie the certainty of this assumption. One example is her stating that she is not taking a position on whether Kavanaugh should be confirmed. Wouldn’t it logically make more sense if she was doing this out of some hyper-partisan scheme to demand he be removed from the bench, versus taking a noncommittal stance like she did?
