What do you think … that he was driving around with the gun loose in the floor mat at his feet and an empty holster on his belt? Does that make any sense to you at all?
When a vehicle has a phony license plate, cops are correct to assume it has phony plates because the driver/owner cold not legally register the vehicle.
People who cannot register vehicles but drive them anyway:
Tinkerbell the fairy,
Angels and saints
Guys with outstanding warrants
Escaped criminals
Car thieves
Guys who could not or would not pay for insurance and for registration fees.
“Don’t fire unless fired at.” was the rules of engagement I had to operate under in a combat zone, not in the US, against people that were our enemies and not US citizens……
Why are the rules of engagement looser for cops in our own country shooting our own citizens than in a war zone dealing with enemy combatants?
Change cops rules of engagement to match a soldiers. Any that can’t operate like that are in the wrong line of work to begin with.
Wait for the civilian to start shooting before you can fire back? Police officers are not soldiers, I think we’d have no police officers under those rules.
Typical Sovereign Citizen type, he was indulging in the usual crap. They live for this crap. Its unfortunate he lost his life over it and he did not deserve to die obviously but I have a hard time mustering up any sympathy for him.
