Right now the economy is on same high as junky gets when he does a heroin fix. In this case the economic heroin is the $1.5 trillion tax break and a bump in spending and marginal wage growth lures the last unemployed back into the job market.
There’s no indication corporations, as a whole, are investing in expanding productivity, just socking away the money.
The latest high is going to come down, and soon there will be demand for a new fix. This time the junky will say things will be different, just give them their fix and make ‘good’ this time.

Yes. Many business owners gave him direct credit for their ability to hire and conduct business unmolested by the government. The day he took over, Wall street responded bigly. Because they had confidence in him. Obama needs to sit down and shut up. This is definitely not about him.
