Now this is going too far!

What the hell is wrong with you people? It goes without saying I’m talking about Libs. They claim to not be diminishing and taking our rights. They claim they’re not engaging in cancelling people and censorship. They say brainwashing and grooming isn’t happening in our schools and they’re not pushing CRT. REALLY?? All of this is happening and now they’re even going after 007. The idiots are editing out every interaction Bond has with blacks and women that they deem unacceptable in today’s woke culture! They’re turning him into a ■■■■■ Galore, who probably won’t survive the lefts fahrenheit 451 treatment of offensive books either.

This is exactly what dictatorships do in their seizure of power. Destroy statues, books, paintings and anything else they deem “offensive” to their agenda so they can recreate their Utopian society in an image comprised of nothing but approved propaganda. Then demonize, discredit, jail and finally just outright kill anyone who doesn’t support their agenda.

When is this unconstitutional crap going to end? How can any American with a brain support the ■■■■■■■■ that these Leftists are doing to our culture and society? It used to be that Democrats supported our country and our constitution, but there doesn’t seem to be enough Democrats left to stop the hijacking that’s been done to their party by the Satanic far left woke dirt bags! Come on useful idiots WAKE UP. If you don’t, you’re going to have to live by the same stupidity that’s being forced on everyone else. This movement is just ramping up…

For those interested.

I’ll note, Ian Fleming Publications, the party responsible for the edits is a British company. Also, some of these edits were originally proposed by Fleming himself before he died in ‘64.

The cries of “unconstitutional” at actions taken by a British publication company is hilarious to watch though.

Lol you know you gone to far left when you are to the left of opinion of Whoopi Goldberg

“Y’all gotta stop this. Just put a disclaimer on it that says, ‘Listen, this book was written at this time.’ Or put out the original and what y’all have done because kids should have the right to read how people thought so that they know how to make the change,”

Sensitivity readers are going mainstream, welcome to 1984. Ian Fleming isn’t the only one.

Free speech is a larger concept than just the first amendment. #ministryoftruth

How is the editing of James Bond novels unconstitutional? Especially as its a British publishing company.

Cant say I personally want to read edited versions but the argument could be made that all books are edited and revised. An author submits his novel for publication and it then goes through a series of revisions and edits. This is why when authors get enough clout they issue “authors preferred editions” and have their original manuscript without cuts etc published.

No one’s speech is being threatened by Ian Fleming Publications.

Nonsense, it’s right out of 1984 jeesh.

Keep it up and white people can claim racism wasn’t a thing. Oh yeah, find it in the literature. Sorry, that has been rewritten by useless parasite woke sensitivity readers. Hilarious.

Libs fee fees are easily offended

The worst kind of censorship is self-censorship to appease those who they think might be offended.

From https://www.theatlantic.com/magazine/archive/2019/07/1984-george-orwell/590638/

No novel of the past century has had more influence than George Orwell’s 1984. The title, the adjectival form of the author’s last name, the vocabulary of the all-powerful Party that rules the superstate Oceania with the ideology of Ingsoc—doublethink, memory hole, unperson, thoughtcrime, Newspeak, Thought Police, Room 101, Big Brother—they’ve all entered the English language as instantly recognizable signs of a nightmare future. It’s almost impossible to talk about propaganda, surveillance, authoritarian politics, or perversions of truth without dropping a reference to 1984. Throughout the Cold War, the novel found avid underground readers behind the Iron Curtain who wondered, How did he know?

Recognize any US political party here?

It’s sad that there are those that would defend altering an author’s literary work to suit their agenda. That is their intellectual property that they worked to bring to fruition. Others have no right to arbitrarily change it to suit their little hurt feelings.

People have lost their damn minds,

Ian Fleming Publications is a private company located at 10 11 Lower John St, London, Essex, W1F 9EB, United Kingdom.

Not sure what this decision of theirs has to do with the Constitution of the United States.

Some virtuous retard: “We’re gonna edit this book and it’s totally not a marketing scheme for (D)imwits!”

(D)imwits: “They’re editing that book and it’s totally not a marketing scheme for (D)imwits like us!”

I never for a single nanosecond ever considered any Ian Fleming or James Bond film content to be at all racist.

These people are out of their minds.

It’s not.

But it’s a great deflection to focus on when the real issue looks bad in the lap of libdom.
