…and is it really a wonder when all of this made up drama over bull feces that has little to no impact on ANYONE…is blown out of proportion and made into a racist propaganda feast that’s fed to the masses by the MSM. The direct results are suicides, youth violence, arson, vandalism and so many other negative aspects deteriorating our society. Here is an example that I believe may very well be the nail in our coffin.
Children killing their parents is fastest growing homicide in US
This is the result of the far left mindset. “We” are leaving…“In God We Trust” and deteriorating into a fake entity that pretends they care about you but all they care about actually…is money and power.
How is it a deflection? I am addressing the OPs question.
As I said I am no fan of revising books but I also accept that the vast majority of books are never published as the author intended them to because they go through an internal editing and revision process by the publishing company.
If they were banning books or recalling previous editions to pulp thats a different mattee but I can easily purchase non revised James Bond books if I want.
I find it ironic how some cons rage on about a private foreign company, deciding to do something, they feel is a breach of the spirit of the 1st amendment, and then blame it on liberals.
When we have state governments literally banning books and ideas in our public school systems, on the basis of “protecting the children”.
Screening and restricting books for children makes sense. It’s what good parents do. But why censor books for adults? Altering books written generations ago to match modern standards is ridiculous and despicable.
Books and magazines have been banned in schools for the children for decades. The difference now libs think they know better then everyone else and think Sexually explicit books and porn showed be shown kids.
Yeah, how anyone twists a decision made by a private company in Great Britain into some sort of violation of the constitution of the United States is beyond me. That’s a great deal of stretching.
I may think it’s a stupid decision, but a decision by a private company in a foreign country being a violation of the constitution of this country? I’d have to go to the hospital after a stretch that big.
Well, personally, I think the decision by the company was a stupid one, but I was mainly just commenting on the constitutionality thing in my earlier post - so I was trying to limit my comments to that piece of it.
Those who disavow their oath to the Constitution should be locked up in Gitmo. Especially those who created laws deemed unconstitutional by the Supreme Court.
Ok. I’ll grant it’s not unconstitutional, but it is a symptom of the unconstitutional things that are happening. They are editing because of the wokeness that is infecting the world. Makes me wonder if the publisher, and countless other companies are responding to idiotic public wokeness or are they driving it?
Wokeness is taking away our rights, under the guise of “the public good”. The biggest danger is that the generation of young mush heads who are all for this wokeness are doing so without the knowledge or experience of the freedoms they are pushing to abolish.
I noticed in the last Bond movie, that he has already been wokified, and not for the better. Do you Libs understand he is fiction? So you’re offended by the sexist and politically incorrect attitude of James Bond, a fictional character that was created decades ago to the point you believe he needs to be corrected; yet have no problem with morons driving down the road blasting the most racist, misogynistic, vile noise at 70 thousand decibels in the form of rap and hip hop, which is infinitely more offensive to decent people?
You guys probably haven’t read 1984, or fahrenheit 451. You keep stupidly saying " it’s not happening", yet you guys are literally marching right down the same road that every dictatorship travels.
Censorship is unconstitutional, and if Libs here are perfectly satisfied in censorship in Britain, then Libs will remain just as silent as it happens more and more here.
