No. We ain't going to war with Iran

Thus far it looks like Trump is on top of his game.

So, what? How is that even remotely relevant?

Depending on Iran’s next move, I believe the US is done.

These things have a habit of turning into things you didn’t expect. Mission creep sets in. I’m sure some general is already trying to make the case that we need to regime change Iran. Just can’t trust them.

So was the 1979 hostage taking of 66 Americans including diplomats and embassy personnel. And the 1983 bombings of the Barracks in Beruit killing 241 US Service members and 58 French and other soldiers.
See how that ā– ā– ā– ā–  works.

Regime change is likely the desired outcome. But in order to be effective it has to come internally. I don’t see the US doing anything to take out Iranian leadership.

Let’s hope not. Because our record with that has a habit of backfiring terribly.

Trump doesn’t want America fighting foreign wars. I believe him.

Like I said, I certainly hope so.

yeah so did iraq.

Just remember that when you break it you buy it. We saw how that turned out in Iraq.

It is my hope the Trump administration is doing this more in a long term effort to stabilize the M.E., rather than just take out Iran’s nuclear capability. The only way long term peace will be attained, in my view, is by the majority of Arab and Muslim nations normalizing relations with Israel. With the worst player in the region marginalized good things can happen. But it’s an incredibly risky and bold move. Let’s see.

indeed they did

not the same way

Peace through bombing neighbours, killing children aid workers hospitals in no less than 4 countries, who wouldn’t want to be bessies with Israel.
Guilty of war crimes by the UN.
This should be normalised because…
Trump and Netanyahu are alone in this endeavour didn’t even consult Congress and have no allies and contradict US intelligence so it will be an unmitigated and costly disaster, if not another 9/11 situation.
Iran are bombing US bases in Qatar now.

Relative to Biden (or shudder … Kamala) he’s right on the mark.

ā€œNew boss same as the old boss.ā€ Or is often the case … worse.

And one can certainly make the case that what followed Saddam and his successor Uday, was good for the people of Iraq.

Iran is talking peace.

Trump rules. :triumph:

You seem to be a very sad and angry person. There are drugs for that you know. One of them can be grown in your backyard greenhouse.
