NJ Governor Holding First Responders Hostage

We go into a for real Depression and a bunch of States go under… Trump will likely lose the Presidency.

Believe it or not… I would rather a bunch of States not go under.

Nothing wrong with that Jezcoe.

Especially if your state won’t allow you to return to work.

That is what the fund should be for.

I agree.

It is exactly what it is for.

I hope to not have to draw on it ever again after this.

We (employers) cover that expense in what we charge.

Ergo, the consumer pays for it.

It isn’t and should never be.

Quite so. It is absolutely AMAZING how people just have no clue what an employer has to pay.

But, they can sure bash them every day of their exhistance, right?

Of course it is there to draw on in situations like this.

But, YOU did NOT pay for it. Your employer did.

And guess what?

If too many people draw on it? You are now not insurable.

Which means bye-bye to everything you’ve ever worked for to build the business.

I paid for with my labor.

Yeah, well guess what. You don’t get squat on unemployment.

Yet, employers have to pay as though you get the benefits of a king.

Of course it is.

This is the thing. You have never run a business so have just what you think vs. what actually is.

Yup. As well as ratios.

If you have three employees and one gets hurt?

Your ratio is screwed vs. 50 and one gets hurt.

Keep telling yourself that champ.

Of course there is.

Be the guy with no license running out of a truck.

Sounds like the unessentials have some state union worker company.

Absolutely, Conan.

Your post makes no sense in relation to my post.

Nor I. We know who the most vulnerable are. Protect them.

Open up.

If my business were closed for “x” amount of time? Sure, there would be nothing left for me to do but to declare bankruptcy.

Fortunately, in the State of Florida you cannot TOUCH my home and… we opened up so we are kicking butt.

Good for you, Jezcoe. No shame in that at all.

I hope you never have to, either. LIfe has a way of throwing curve balls so never say never.

You have no idea what I have done.

So did I, Jezcoe.

I’'m going to tell you something that happened that is real and actual. I’ll try to make it short.

One of my employees filed a workman’s comp claim because some old folks missed their exit and decided to turn off at the last second.

The driver of my company vehicle swerved in response and ran over a curb.

Employee (passenger) said OUUUUUUHHHH.

Went to file a workman’s comp claim. Turns out the guy has cancer. The “owww” that he claimed was his femoral was actually a tumor.

Did I cause that? Yes or no?

Yet, because they determined my “ratio” was so high…I was uninsurable.

Which would have put me out of business. Yet, there are so many that I employed.

What about them?
