The State has programs to help with that. Albeit they can do more. One of my tenants is a house painter who gets assistance from the State for rent because he is a veteran.

Homelessness is a growing problem in Maine. A lot of it has to do with the lack of housing. One of the problems is that the housing stock along the coast… where the population and jobs are… has been eaten up with vacation rental. That is a problem that they are trying to solve but they are just going to create a larger mess imo.
Again, if the taxpayers in Maine are fine with housing and caring for illegal invaders, TX Gov Abbott should send them more.
Once again… you are making an assumption as to how these asylum seekers came to Maine.
You are thinking that every single one of the them came across the southern border instead of what you would consider to be the proper path.
