Newsmax: Praise, Donations Pouring In for Murder Suspect Luigi Mangione

I do. Was way better.

I see you are as clueless about this as……, well pretty much everything else.
Insurance industry makes their money from investment.

Probably, but not going to waste the time. Why bother to provide data to a leftist sycophant who actually bought into the whole “biden is sharp as a tack” narrative.

Nope. I know it is a fact that obammycare trashed the health insurance industry but there are those who believe government interference actually improves industry and those are beyond help

Can’t fix Stupid.

Before the ACA, insurance didn’t cover many things including a yearly physical, which is a tremendous tool to keep people healthy - and insurance down!

There also was no mandate on the percentage of premium profit. Now, after the ACA, if your insurance provider doesn’t spend a certain percentage of their premiums on payouts they refund you a portion of your premium.

Also, tens of millions of americans are insured today because of the ACA.

Those are three points that refute your claim.

But I will agree, it could have been better. The public option would have been the easiest, but republicans and conservative dems didn’t want to hurt corporate insurance profits, so they insisted on a plan that had private insurance companies at the heart of things.

You want better insurance and more affordable health care? Vote in liberals who want a public option.

Lol.

You’re not serious are you?

AI answer:

In 2016, Bob Marino, the CEO of Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey, made $4.5 million. In 2009, Marino’s salary was $8.7 million, which was 59% more than the previous year. This prompted calls for federal and state reviews of the company.

Lol - non-profit.

Come on…

What a dumb thing to say.

So do I.

I bleeive the odl system needed to be fixed.
I don’t believe this fixed it.

ACA did more harm than good and it created so much dependency we will probably never get aroudn to unraveling the mess.

praise for the murderer of the private health insurance employee

when private insurance is eliminated and the government takes over, will the murder of the governmental insurance employees be similarly praised?

So our un-American socialist authoritarians could replace our free-market system with socialized health care which makes voters dependent upon government.

JWK

A POWER OVER A MAN’s SUBSISTENCE AMOUNTS TO A POWER OVER HIS WILL ____ Hamilton, No. 79 Federalist Papers

LOL.

Who’s insurance? Because mine did. It was also much cheaper.

I have never ever seen a refund from ANY insurance.

Yeah. Even the ones who didn’t want health insurance.

So your solution to government screwing up health insurance is to get more government into it.

LOL how typically leftist if you.

As I said above. Can’t fix stupid.

CEOs of many non-profits make big bucks. Look it up for United Way, for example.

Salary is not the measure to use for assessing whether an organization is non-profit.

It’s good for outrage, but little more.

Well sometimes truth is dumb to some people.

Zip is correct.

Maybe for you… but not for the millions who didn’t have insurance and had to use the emergency room for basic healthcare and go bankrupt in the process.

And where do they get the money to invest?

So you have nothing…

Ask my brother with a pre existing condition who couldn’t get insurance prior to ACA. He a millions of others with pre existing conditions now have an option due to ACA.

The people who run non-profits profit immensely.

Countering the argument that insurance companies are beholding to the bottom line with ‘but they are non-profits!’ is foolish.

They make money by paying out less in benefits than they take in in premiums.

Murdering a murderer is still murder.

A basic problem is that US executives almost never face prosecution for their decisions even when there is good evidence of negligent homicide or other crimes. Instead the corporation is charged criminally and forced to pay large fines to the government. In many cases, the fines are less than the benefit to the company, so the message is that crime pays.

Big Pharma’s Big Fines

The projection here is wild

They primarily make money from premiums and aligning those premiums with risk of an event happening that exceeds the premiums received.

My goodness. With so many having a problem with our free-market system, perhaps they ought to move to Cuba or Canada and enjoy their government run healthcare system.

I have a problem with for-profit healthcare. I don’t have a problem with for-profit tech companies like Apple.
