Ah . . . you reference the evil nature of our so-called income tax.
When Federal Reserve Notes were made a legal tender in violation of our Constitution, and a direct un-apportioned tax was imposed upon the people without their consent (the Temporary Victory Tax of 1943) America’s free enterprise, free market system was subjugated, and the tools of oppression and thievery were made available to some very immoral and nefariously evil people.

If, by calling a tax indirect when it is essentially direct, the rule of protection [apportionment] could be frittered away, one of the great landmarks defining the boundary between the nation and the states of which it is composed, would have disappeared, and with it one of the bulwarks of private rights and private property. So do the CEOs of universities. (Oops I meant presidents of universities).
Anyway, just like there are at least two non-profit universities in every state, there are at least two and usually more non-profit health insurers in every state.
Every employer, and every self-employed person in the US has the ability to choose a non-profit health insurer.
Every employee who does not like his insurance has the option of switching to another employer with another plan.

Below, as an added service who never question the anti-corporate sterotypes they have been force fed appears a list of every state and at least two non-proft helath insurance companies operatng in them.
I’ve told you before, and I have committed to you that I will tell you each time you respond to me, that I have nothing but contempt for your posts because of how much dishonesty you post.
So here’s my fulfillment of that promise.
Your posts contain too much dishonesty. Go pester someone else.
It’s been subjugated by some very evil folks including socialist revolutionaries, the same kind who took over Cuba and now rule over the people with an iron fist.
The free market doesn’t really work well in the Healthcare industry for various reasons. For one it’s very personal and emotional because it can mean the difference between life and death and so how does one put a value on their own life or a loved one’s life. The other problem pertains to the product or service provided. For example when you want to buy a TV you are comfortable shopping around for one that fits into your budget. But when you need medical care who wants to shop around for the cheapest doctor out there?
HMOs already do that. Each doctor is paid a fixed monthly fee whether they see one peson and remove one splinter, or see 10 patients a day and perform ten dlecate procedure.
They price shop for you. You don’t have to wait until your appendix acts up and then price shop on your own.

Also before Obamacare,
if you were young and healthy you could ge a lower rate. Heck you could get your insurance thought your “Young people’s jogging club.”
If you belonged to a church where there was no smoking and no drinking and almost everyone was young, you and your whole church could get discounted insurance.
Obamacare. It’s what happens when the “I know nothing about medicine but I hate corporations” crowd writes one health plan for every man woman and child in America
